The Zuidoost district will be showing off tulips in April 2025. Rows of tulips in tubs will be planted at numerous locations throughout the district. The red Bijlmer tulip can be seen in the streetscape, including at Anton de Komplein and Hoekenrode. This tulip was christened in 2018 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bijlmermeer.
